Description
This stunning banana fibre and raffia placemat is handwoven with the natural colour showing through the black stripes. Crafted using traditional skills, and coloured using natural dyes. Bundles of banana fibre (bukedo) strands are wrapped in the young leaves of the raffia palm, these are then coiled and stitched into shape.
