Achille, Simon & Benoit work magic by creating asymetrical shoes that are of amazing quality. Every material is researched and sourced from ethical producers, whether its made from leather sourced in Lombardy, Italy; vegan leather made from apples peels from the food industry in Europe; or Spanish GOTS certified organic cotton. Made in Portugal, the land of good shoemakers, by craftsmen who love what they do. Each sole is made from recycled rubber and glued AND sewn, and attention to detail is applied at every step. These shoes are seriously made to last. The finishing touches of gold letters on each shoe are done by Maria and José, experts in embroidery. Finally, each time you buy a pair of shoes, Caval donates to Handicap International to support their programmes that aim to promote the inclusion of people with disabilities in society, in particular to finance the #School4all campaign, which promotes a school open to children with disabilities: fitting amputee children with a prosthesis, making schools accessible and training teachers to provide specific support for pupils are the main objectives of the programme.
