Description
These ceramics are designed in the Netherlands by Kinta and are ‘fair trade’. They are handmade in Hanoi, Vietnam in a family-run ceramic workshop run by the eighth generation. The ceramist uses local resources and mixes the (non-toxic) colours himself. These food-safe products are baked at high temperatures which make them dishwasher and microwave safe. Beautiful, sophisticated, European design teamed up with fair trade practices.
#Why We Love Them
Kinta has been supplying high-quality products to the European Market in a sustainable and socially responsible way for the past 25 years. Wherever possible, products are made from either recycled or sustainable locally sourced materials and they are developed and produced in full cooperation with local suppliers. All contributors are paid fairly for their work and integrate decent working conditions into the contracts they sign. They do the due diligence around working conditions by visiting their suppliers on a regular basis.
